About

Code can make you smile, trust me!

Some of the finest programmers I know were inspired by watching, seeing, or spending time with programmers that were better than they ever imagined someone could be. No matter how self-made we think we are as programmers, we cannot deny the fact that there is an individual whom we have looked up to inspiration and with whose standards we have constantly challenged ourselves.

Moreover, sometimes we find it challenging to understand some concepts that are key to us being better programmers. For some, it stems from the fact that they did not major in computer science or any other related fields. Even the most ambitious books and websites are too advanced for our comprehension.

At codeknights, we seek to introduce you to the world of data science, artificial intelligence and machine learning using the most simple articles and tutorials you can imagine. Sometimes, these will be drawn from books and other websites, but emphasis will always be placed on simplicity.

This is not a blog by professionals, and it is desirably so. The intention is to build a community where people learning how to code can write, and have their peers evaluate and comment on their work.

If you will want to write for codeknights, you do not have to be an expert or an experienced programmer. Just write, and we will build a conversation around that. Email your articles to karllemfon@gmail.com with the subject “CodeKnights Article”, and let’s get started!
